Friday Menu, Week 24: A Perfect Polish Pairing - Kotlet Schabowy and Mizeria

Ingredients for Kotlet Schabowy
- 4 pork chops (approximately 1 lb or 450 g total)
- 1 cup (or 120 g) all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups (or 200 g) bread crumbs

- 1/2 cup (or 120 ml) sour cream

- Fresh dill for garnish
Instructions for Kotlet Schabowy
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.
- Dredge each pork chop in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and then coat with bread crumbs.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the breaded pork chops and fry until golden brown on both sides. This should take about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Once cooked, remove the pork chops from the skillet and drain on a paper towel.
Instructions for Mizeria
- Thinly slice the cucumbers.
- In a bowl, mix the sour cream, vinegar, and sugar. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the sliced cucumbers to the bowl and mix until they are well coated with the dressing.
- Garnish with fresh dill before serving.
