Ingredients

  • 250 grams of linguine pasta
  • 300 grams of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup of white wine
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sautΓ© until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the white wine and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for a minute or two to reduce slightly.
  5. Add the butter to the skillet and stir until melted. Stir in the lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Return the cooked linguine and shrimp to the skillet. Toss well to coat the pasta and shrimp with the sauce.
  7. Serve the Shrimp Scampi Pasta hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
